Garden in Bedford Hotel
This hotel is a great value for money. It's a good price for the Christmas season. Spacious single room with all the amenities needed (coffee, tea, biscuits, electric adapter available at reception, safe, trouser press, etc. A soft close seat in the bathroom is a big plus 😁. A queen bed is comfortable and soft for a good night's sleep. Wifi works perfectly. Online check-in and check-out are also available and spares some time (especially as I came in late at night - 2 am) English breakfast is substantial, however every day the same: fruits, eggs, sausages, beans, salami and cheese, cereals, etc. Rooms are serviced daily and are clean, the view of the garden is probably much better than on the street where it may get noisy in the morning. Room maids are even available in the afternoon to refill tea, coffee, and biscuits if needed. The location is great. The British Museum is just around the corner, traditional quaint pubs and an elegant seafood restaurant right across the street, and bus stops, and tube station are only a minute's walk away. Personel is also kind and accomodating. For my next stay, I'd choose this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is perfect, in a lively street with restaurants, souvenir shop, grocery shop, pharmacy, very close to main of the atractions, 10-20 mins walk. The Biritish Museum is a 3 mins walk and the Oxford Street is 15 mins walk. It is a 15 mins walk to the West End if you would go to a theatre. The Holborn Station is 3 mins walk and through it goes the Picaddily Line which is the main line to the Heathrow. The Bedford Hotel is very clean. Comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent with vegetables, fruit, toast (no bread), ham, cheese, croissants, chocolate, honey and jams, milk, greek yogurt, juices, tea and coffee (excellent coffee from the machine) and full English breakfast. The staff is very helpfull and polite. The last day we stored our luggage in the store room in the lobby and there was no problem.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bedford Hotel in London, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was beautifully appointed, with all the amenities one could need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a busy day exploring the city. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the room were impeccable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Situated in a charming area of London, it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. Despite its central location, the hotel maintained a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation.

The location is great, really close to the British Museum. I visit the Museum three times in a few days just because I can. Breakfast is a standard English breakfast, very delicious although not much varies from day to day. The breakfast room overlook a lovely small garden that I wish I spent more time in. I stayed on the 5th floor, and the sunset view from my window is spectaculars. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will come back in my next trips.

The breakfast was as good as breakfasts at more expensive hotels. A bonus was the option of oatmeal porridge which you ordered specially. Made with milk, it was delicious and set me up for the day. Location perfect in wonderful Bloomsbury, staff helpful and friendly. Compared to other and more expensive hotels, it was really excellent value for money. Considerably cheaper than the Premier Inn chain, for example, and much more pleasant. I'll be back.
